My Hometown and Summer Vacation
This summer I went to the Eurwangni Beach in Incheon with my family.
My family went to the beach in my father’s car for one hour. It was cloudy, so
it was not so hot. There were many people in the beach. They swam and
played. The beach was clean, beautiful and cool. I didn’t have spare clothes,
so I couldn’t enter the beach deeply. Nevertheless, I played with my family
entertainingly. I didn’t go to the beach since I was fifteen years old, so it was
more fun. However, things were so expensive in the beach. My family stayed
at the beach for seven hours. I want to go to the beach one more time next
year.
My hometown is Gimpo. Gimpo is smaller than Seoul, but there is an
airport in Gimpo. We can board a plane in Gimpo. I usually listen to plane
sound at home. In Gimpo, it’s not so hot in summer, and it’s not so cold in
winter. However, I don’t like my hometown. My home is so far from the
subway station. When I lived in Seoul, my home was very close from the
subway station, so I like Seoul more than Gimpo. Gimpo is famous for the
airport. Many people board planes everyday. I want to board a plane, too. In
Gimpo, many people grow grapes, and many people eat grapes. In Gimpo,
Many people hang out at the Gimpo Lotte Mall. There are many people in the
Lotte Mall every day. People do their shopping, eat something, and see
movies in the Lotte mall. There is Munsu mountain fortress in Gimpo. It was
built in the Chosun Dynasty, and it is 2,400 meters.
Gyeongju has many attractions. Anapji, Cheomseongdae and the Silla
Dynasty tombs are some of the most famous attrations you can see in
downtown Gyeongju. There are also many attrations near Bomun Lake, such
as Gyeongju World, two teddy bear museums and the Sonje Art Museum.
Finally, you shouldn’t leave Gyeongju without visiting Bulguksa, the famous
Buddhist temple, and Seokgoram Grotto. Many people visit Gyeongju to look
at attractions every year. Gyeongju became a famous tourist city. We will
have to preserve the attractions forever.
